I decided to release an instrumental track I made back in 2020 on bandcamp earlier this week. I've never released anything exclusively on bandcamp, but it's a great platform for artists to share their music and get paid directly. Plus, you can stream all my songs for free on there without a membership or anything like that. It's designed for independent artists, and I appreciate that it exists.
This song captured the feeling of the natural flow I felt in the depths of 2020, when everything was closed down and nature was absolutely glowing. Emma (who shot and edited this photo) and I spent a looooot of time outside walking and hanging out in nature. It was a magical feeling, honestly. Once in a lifetime.
It's so easy to get caught up in the mind games of human society, but the feeling you get when you're walking in a field with nowhere to be brings you right back to your natural state. That flow is what I'm trying to get back to now. It's there, all the time, underneath all the layers we build on top of it.
